Nice big head and decent lacing with a pine/grassy and grapefruit aroma. A semi sweet start with the grapefruit flavour and a big bitter finish. This is a very decent US IPA.

On tap at the brewery. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy with candied lemon, flavor is similar. Dry piney finish with only a modest amount of bitterness. Nice lean profile, decent IPA.

Pours a hazy golden orange from the bottle with dissipating white head that leaves good lace. Aroma is resinous, catty, amazing hop notes of citrus, grapefruit, earth, floral, slight mint. Taste is more balanced with a nice malty back end on top of the hops. Nice carbonation, slight bitterness, pretty amazing IPA.

650 mL bottle. Ridiculous foamy head. It looks like shaving cream. My first thought was that the beer was infected. Doesn’t seem to be though. Nice malt backbone to counter the heavy bittering hops. The hop flavour is herbal/medicinal. Not bed.

Spab (2357) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2014
650 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits. Pours a murky orange color with good-sized, dense white head. Aroma is spicy pine resin, some flowers and underlying caramel malt. Flavour is rather spicy resiny hops with some floral characteristics, a bit of graininess and a subtle sweet caramel. Body on the fuller side. A little drying alcohol in the finish. Nice.

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Virginia Beach, VA. Deep orange pour with a frothy white head. Aroma of tangerine, pine, and wet grass. Bitter hop taste of grapefruit rind, pine needles, and lemons with traces of sweet malt. Bitterness lingers on the palate. A very good IPA.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Dry and sweet with sprucy hops aromas with some pink grapefruit towards the end mixed with tiny hints of alcohol. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Long bitter finish.

From a bottle. Pours a mildly cloudy amber, tiny head, big floral aroma with grassy notes, big bitter hops flavours with strong grapefruit, a touch of resin in the mouth feel. There is a lot going on here but I like it.

This golden beer has a very inviting sweet aroma of tangerines. It has a hop heavy flavor and a bit of a malt flavor. It has a subtle sweet flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

golden orange colour with slight haze, big foamy head. aroma is citrus hops, and a lot of them. taste is nice and hoppy citrus and piny, but no real backbone to carry the flavour of the beer. but nice and crisp
