UPDATED: OCT 31, 2012 Bottle from Purvis. Great IPA, hoppy, but well malted. Aromas of caramel, grass, and passionfruit. Taste has a sweet start, sour notes, and bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

A nice full bodied IPA. Thick and soft with a spicy finish. The dry hopping gives the beer a nice smell. I couldn’t drink more than a few, but this is an enjoyable beer.

Bomber pours brilliantly clear copper with solid half inch plank of tan head. The aroma tosses up spicy hops and surprisingly bitter smelling floral hops too. Underneath the hops I only get a sense of sweetness that is likely maltiness. The taste enters smooth crisp with hops and full bodied. I get a pleasing mix of spicy hops and floral hop bitterness where the flavor is leaning heavily on the bitter side. I think this is the most bitter floral hop type brew I’ve ever tried. I also get some pine resin and grassiness with faint yummy maltiness as well off in the background. Cool bitter brew that is scratching me right where I itch.

Bella da vedere, molto buona da annusare, fruttata, sapore molto molto amaro e poi fruttato e infine unretrugusto amaro che si spegne molto molto lentamente.

22oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Pine, resin, grapefruit. Very bitter and the bitterness lingers a bit. Definitely hop forward. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light copper orange with a thick creamy head. Aroma is citrucy fruity grapefruit and sweet carmel malt and tangerines. Taste follows the aroma perfect with a smooth medium mouth feel and a good hop profile and balanced with malt perfect! Very good ipa!

650ml bottle. Pours a vibrant orange color with a fair sized head of loose foam. Aroma is packed full of fruity hoppiness with a bouquet of flowers also in the mix. In the mouth it is quite aggressive in a good way with a big smack in the mouth of hops that leaves a resinous aftertaste. Not a beer to be drunk quickly.

Sampled on 1/22/2010. This India Pale Ale pours a medium copper orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, grapefruity and citrusy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy, perhaps a little herbal. Nice carbonation. It is most definitely a Northern California IPA. Lots of hop flavors and a lot of long lasting hop bitterness. Good carbonation. Nice IPA. Lots of bitterness and nice hops flavors. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter and it last a good long time.

Strong aroma is richly hoppy with a firm grapefruit undertone, what I expect from a good IPA, with just a whisper of honey sweetness. It pours a pretty clear coppery amber with a thick, fluffy, white head that hangs around for just a bit. Flavor is quite hoppy and a little bitter, with an undertone of sour citrus - mainly grapefruit - and a hint of honey sweetness that balances the bitterness nicely. Smooth texture is fairly fizzy and leaves a nice hoppy finish that has bitter, sour and sweet tones.
