Bomber from the Saxapahaw General Store after a fine dinner and before a great Drive-By Truckers show at the Haw River Ballroom. Fuck yeah. Pours lighter orange, sort of hazy. Not too much head. Pretty much a slightly maltier but spicier Two Hearted Ale. The hop profile was similar, but with a bit of a peppery kick. I dunno, it was alright, but something about it just didnít impress me. Maybe it was a weird follow up to the delicious Sinebrychoff Koff Porter I had with the fantastic local pork/beef meatloaf there, but I think itís just not my style of IPA.

from Birreria Edelweiss@Alba Adriatica - quite clear amber-orange beer with a persistent beige foam; solid flowery and resiney hoppiness; full-bodied, some sweetness and a solid bitterness; quite dry and long caramelish, spicy and piney finish

Bottle from Safeway in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, citrusy hops. Taste is a lovely balance of hops and malts. Solid... and one of the better IPAs currently wasting away on a Safeway shelf.

Tap @ basement beer bar, Aalborg. Aroma of citra, pine, caramel malt. Clear amber with tiny head, none. Heavy bitterness, moderate caramel sweetness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, bitter long finish.

I really quite enjoyed this. A nice orange color with a good malt amount to battle it out with the tasty hops. Good stuff.

From bomber to pint glass. Predominant malt on the nose with a citrus and perfume background. Clear gold with pristine white head of large white bubbles that lingers. Taste is mixture of pine, bread and slight orange. Not the typical west coast IPA, but also very enjoyable.

Bottle. Hazy copper with a medium sized off white head. Hoppy nose; citrus, dry flowers, herbal. Same things in the flavour with some bread and dough behind it. Medium body, fine carbonation, some sweetness at first, but bitterness quickly takes over to a solid dry and bitter finish. A bit raw in the finish, otherwise fine.
