pours clear and bright yellow with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. floral, perfumy - pears, lightly piney and citrusy, nice clean pale chewy malts, lightly boozy and juicy, bit of herbs. average to soft carbonation, light body - oily, short to medium long citrusy finish. well executed. nice refreshing offering.

Aroma: Malt, pine resin and citrus. Appearance: Orange-gold with a large stable white head. Flavor: Malt, immediately followed up by a sharp herbal hop bitterness. Palate: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation and long very bitter finish. Overall: A bit too bitter. Out of balance - needs more malt and more body. Drinkable, but I would not buy another.

Bottle. Good grassy aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is malty with a good grassy hop note. Late rough hoppiness.

Nice IPA.

Bottle @ ZZT VII, thx to everyone for sharing their bottles. Aroma of pine and pineapple, grapefruit. Aggressive hops indeed. Quite bitter, dry taste. Very harsh and not one for a session actually (in contrast to its description), but still I liked the amount I had.

Nice amber colored ale with a billowing off-white foamy head. Good lacing. Getting some nice aroma. Blood orange, pineapple, bready, doughy, malt, toast. Some dankness is very present. Very malt forward taste with a big dose of bitterness on the back end. Still getting more bitterness on the aftertaste. Not totally balanced here. Big hops abound. Resiny as it states on the label is apparent. Getting some rye as well and pepper on the finish. Not bad, but definitely a non-sweet IPA if you are wondering. I like mine on the spicy, bitter side so this is cool with me. Nice and full bodied. Carbonated well. Overall this was a unique experience. A bold, bitter, malty IPA. Sweetness took off at the start of this production. The price point is nice for this and worthy of trying if not for the interesting ride. Still salivating after each sip.

lusikka (4124) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 3, 2013
650 ml bottle.
Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma of caramel malts, strong gooseberry bush and berries. Flavour of caramel malts, gooseberries, hay, bitter (but old) floral hops and metallic notes. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Finishes bitter, floral and metallic, where the off-flavours come through even more. Not a fresh bottle at all. Re-rate needed.
