3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thin khaki tan head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Color is a slightly clear dark maple syrup brown. Smell is nutty malt aroma. It is sweet and bready, like a fruit cake. Taste is also very malty. There is a mix of walnuts, molassas/brown sugar, and a bit of spices. Hops shows up as almost an after thought. Has a solid medium body. Overall enjoyed it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Some floral hops with tastes of caramel, orange marmalade and malt, which should be a good thing. Rather thin and disappointing nevertheless.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Vinous aroma in a cloudy light brown pour. Taste is surprisingly light to start but builds in subtlety and complexity from there. While this is not one of my favoured styles I reckon this is a nice example of it.
