Have you ever eaten a snowcone, and focused on using your spoon more than your straw? So that at the end of the cone, you've depleted the ice, whilst there's still a whole lot of syrup left? Apply that concept to an otherwise balanced beer....and welcome to blarney time.

Cervesa bastant dolça però amb un petit toc llupolitzat que la fa molt interessant.
Cerveza bastante dulce pero con un pequeño toque lupulizado que la hace muy interesante.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle. Poured a nice ruby copper color with a pretty off-white head. Aroma was lots of toffee, sweet boozy malts. Bitter hops present, which provides some nice counterbalance to the boozy malt character. Flavor was nice, boozy crystal malts. Good light resin, floral hop character. Went down way too easy for 10%.

750ml bottle from Vice Versa shared with JF.Aroma : malty a lot, cereals (barley), App : clear copper with red tint with minimal head. Taste and palate : full body, medium high sweetness, finish is really malty and sweet. Overall : don?t think I?ll buy again. Too malty. Too sugary and quite unpleasant aroma.

From a bottle. Pours murky brown, minimal head, malty biscuit aroma, smooth, warming on the palate with some hop punch. Great stuff.

"another big sweet beer from Moylan’s. A little on the maltier side, with a thick, soft mouthfeel, this is a good after dinner sipper. Ages well, and it’s very nice on tap."

A nice barley wine. Reddish body. Nice sweet malty aroma. Kind of a hoppy element to this considering it's a barley wine. Nice.

Bottle @ BeerTemple, Amsterdam.
Thought it was a barrel aged DIPA, turned out to be a very dry/hopped barley wine. Deceptively drinkable, quite nice.
