Small tan head. Clingy, sticky legs. Aroma of roast fresh, bitter coffee, big malt sweetness and semi-sweet chocolate. Flavor is strong coffee, roasty, stone fruits, baker’s chocolate, licorice and medium sweetness. Oily coating on the palate. Smooth, coffee bitter finish from a medium mouthfeel. Pours dark brown to black with a tan head. The aroma is coffee with roasted malt. The flavor is raisins, roasted malt, coffee and some bitterness from either the hops or coffee. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation. A solid imperial stout. mbgrayson (166), Anaconda, Montana, USA
