Pours dark black with a light tan head. Smell is roasty, hoppy and big. Taste is dark bitter roasy dry chocolate with a slightly rich body and mild carbonation. Nice hops in flavor too. Pretty good and nicely dark and flavorful.

The aroma is molassas and coffee. There is also a little hint of toasted walnuts. The taste has some coffee and dark chocolate. This is very roasted and has some almonds. Decent, but not great. MamoSean (3), Mission Viejo, California, USA does not count Jul 17, 2008 For the price of the bottle ($3.99), this is hard to beat. Definitely worth having in the fridge as an everyday option. pours a dark, dark brown (black) and has a strong smell to it - almost as much as Stone Imperial Russian Stout. deep brown head that rises and falls nicely. The coffee flavor is prevalent in the first few sips then dissipates in favor of the currants and other flavors.
