On cask at Moylan’s 2/18/08. What a great surprise for my first trip to Moylan’s! Pours black with a creamy brown head. Smells well balanced of whiskey and malt. Taste is also well-balanced chocolatey malts with whiskey and a hint of oak. Mouthfeel is thin, much like the standard bottled version of Ryan O’Sullivans. Good carbonation for a cask brew.

Draft. Blackish beer with a creamy brown head. Malt, slight whiskey aroma. Malty, caramel, whiskey flavor with nice depth and a bit of oak. Medium body - nice mouthfeel. Nice chocolate, whiskey, malt lingering combination. A good sipper.
