Oct 12, 2006 Nice grapefruit nose with a slight touch of garlic. Clean and well balanced on the palate. Nice clean and soft finish.

Aug 1, 2006 Draft. Rich amber color with an off-white head. Grapefruit aroma, but not as strong as many of the summit IPAs. Grapefruit and sweet malt flavor (sweeter than other summits). Some graininess at first (but maybe I got used to it as I didn’t get it at the end of the pint). Lingering bitterness.

Jul 12, 2006 Tasted on tap at the Drakes 1st Annual Beer Festival and Washoes Tournament. This IPA pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and herbal. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are floral and herbal. Medium bitter IPA. More hoppy than fruity, but the fruitiness comes on at the finish. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
