COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the classic Pale Ale style is named in tribute to County Tipperary, our founders Fatherís Homeland. Sweetly sharp and smoothly bitter, this beer straddles the line between what you want and what you need. Itís not a long way to Tipperary anymore! Slainte.

On tap at the brewpub. Itís a clear, dark golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Fruity nose, peaches and pears, some pine cones too. A tad sweet on the palate, with a fine fruityness and a balancing bitterness. Dries up towards the end. Full body. Soft carbonation. Sure a nice one, tasteful and easy drinkable. 130806

pours clear golden orange with a nice off-white head, some retention and lacing. spicy, citrusy with soft pine and resiny notes, chewy toasted and slightly biscuity malts, fruity malts too - spicy pineapple, shy caramel - dry. average carbonation, light to medium body, relatively short citrusy-spicy finish. more like an english pale ale with american hops if at all possible (!). quenching. enjoyed it!

22 oz bomber from state line liquor. bottle says "live ale! keep refrigerated." unfortunately the fine folks at state line did not. still a very flavorable pale ale, I just wish I could try it fresh because i am sure it would have warranted a higher rating. as it is, a somewhat musky fully bodied brew with a nice hop forward brew. too bad the hops taste old.

This is a great pale ale, eminently drinkable with great US hop flavour and aroma. Very well balanced too.

Iíve never had anything from Moylanís that wasnít a double IPA or a stout, so this will be a nice change. It has a pretty clear, caramelized orange color for a pale ale, with your standard, everyday, cream-colored head. The nose is wonderful, though, with a slight, low/moderate-lovibond caramel grain sweetness paired up with some pepperminty green or hay-heavy hops - itís really great for a standard pale ale! The flavor is wicked... WICKED! Thereís a really fantastic/weird/pungent herbal, plant-like hop flavor that tastes just like plant stems... honestly, it reminds me a little of cut flower stems or straight-up straw or hay. Looking for a very different pale ale? This oneís for you! Itís almost resinous, but fresh and leafy. Iíve never tasted straw/hay so strong before in a beer and itís actually very good. The finish is decorated with a little caramel to counter-balance the interesting plant-like flavor - otherwise, itís pretty thick-palated/bodied for a pale ale and a nice change from the humdrum.
