A pale hoppy bitter. This bitter uses a single malt with American hops - ideal for the summer!

Cask @ The Old Horse, Leicester. I don't know if it is because it is a particularly hot week, or they'd rushed it on because of a beer festival they were having and therefore wasn't very well kept or if this beer is meant to be like this. (Beer is normally kept ok in this pub). Very hazy golden colour, tastes like a homebrew I made once which wasn't very good. Hops are there but taste almost artificial with a nasal passage clearing astringency. I drank it though, but not sure why. Body was OK, but it is in cask. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival on 28 April 2011. Clear gold colour. There’s a touch of sulphur in the aroma although not so much as to be too intrusive. Clean mouthfeel but not a lot of depth to the flavours. Drinkable but could use more hops.

Cask, gravity at Oxford Beer Festival, Fri 28th Oct 2011 Nothing over the top to this beer, touch thin and watery and really lacking any oopmh.. I was hoping for more hops, sadly it wasn’t to be. Difficult to rate stood up with glass, programme etc in hands as well. A6 A4 T5 P2 Ov11 2.8
