I like a good Oktoberfest pour like this one - a bright orange body with a tall foamy head. The aroma had toasted grains, a splash of caramel, and a balancing earthy bitterness, just enough to keep the malty sweetness from becoming overpowering. Medium bodied, it had a smooth & creamy mouthfeel. The flavor pretty well echoed the sensations from the nose, ending on a mildly bitter note. Nice.
