2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry and tupalev -- courtesy of Presario. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of fruity malt, hops and honey. Light flavour follows the aroma but isn’t very flavourful. Light bodied. Pretty bland stuff.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nose is grainy, cereal, corn flakes, sweet fruity and adjuncty. Not offensive, just not pleasant. Golden pour bright no head or lace. Corn chips, light fruity sweetness, corn, grass. Not much here really. Its a cream ale, possibly a hint of butter. Light but slick mouthfeel. Another cream ale tick for an adjunct fan.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lightly hazy yellow, thin head, average lacing. Nose of diacetyl & light sturdy hops, the malts are faint but large & menacing in their footprint. The flavor is actually fairly malty and full bodied with some herbal hops accentuating the finish. Nice cream ale. Thanks Josh.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
[997-20071223] 650mL (w/ GregClow, jerc). Smells like sheep lanolin or wet wool, skunky wheat and a hint of peas. Clear, orange amber body with a quick foamy off-white head. Sweet honeyed grain flavour. Medium body is grainy and watered down. Not impressive.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
I find most Mount Begbie beers squarely average. While the texture is creamy, the beer itself has no distinct character. Perhaps I will revisit it soon if only because I like to support the microbrewies from BC.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Grainy malts in the nose with some lemony and grassy hops apparent. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a shy white head that recedes rapidly to a partial cover and ring. Mild buttery diacetyl joins the grainy malts and grassy hops. Surprisingly crisp bitterness. Strong sharp carbonation is overly aggressive especially when pared with watery, light body. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Brewery Creek, Feb-07).

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light sweet aroma. Clear clean golden colour. Very light initial taste followed by a sweet honey and hop aftertaste. Very light head. Better than Sleeman’s.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very little aroma. Does not look like a cream ale. This is only okay. The flavor is light. Not real creamy. Just not very interesting to me.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(650ml bottle) Purchased at the Gorge BCLS for $4.35. Pours a medium, frothy white head with a clear yellow body. Nose is very grainy with a corn malt base. Flavour has some wet wheat and soap water undertones. Its weak and undefinable. I wish they stocked more quality BC-micros on the shelf than this waste-water.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
650ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a small white head with some sporadic lacing. Aroma is light cereal grains with some grass and mild fruits. Taste is light fruit and malty sweetness with a mild grassy hop bitterness. Light bodied with modest carbonation. A decent refreshing brew that is nice on a hot summer day.
