A generously hopped IPA, balanced by a diabolical blend of rich specialty malts and pure mountain water. A wicked ale that leaves you lusting for more!

Pours coppery amber, foamy off white head. Aroma is strongly floral, resinous, with hints of citrus. Taste is citrus, some hints of malt and caramel, finishing bitter and floral. Average body and carbonation, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Not bad.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2015 650 ml bomber bottle from Liquor Depot during an insanely great clearance sale. (I got six bottles for one dollar each, deposit extra; the beer gods surely smiled on me that day...greatest buck-a-beer deal EEEVER!) Served in another equally cool thrift store treasure, a slightly inward-curved 500 ml Stiegl "tower" glass. Very cool. Pours a bright copper hue with a fluffy, light mocha cap that leaves several lace rings. Big floral and fruit hop aromas, with lemon predominant, but not as fresh as I’d hoped. On the tongue, there’s a happily fresher flavor complex of citrus and pine; despite its name and the satyr depicted on the label, this isn’t a hop-bomb; the hops are well-controlled. Mouthfeel is pleasant, with a clean finish and a lightly bitter bite. An altogether fresh-tasting IPA that’ll tempt you to have another of their 6% ABV bombers.

Tap at the last drop, Revelstoke. Dark Amber, creamy offwhite head. Fairly resinny hops, pine, earthy, herbal. Medium light body, flat slighly oily mouthfeel. Pine and grape finish. Fairly basic high-IBU IPA. Just not a big fan of those anymore.

Bottled. Nice big orange citrus hop aroma, fine bitter palate, with grapefruit notes too. Lingering finish. Tasty without the huge body I expected.

650ml bottle. Pours light copper with finger of off white head. Aromas of citrus orange grapefruit. Taste same as nose with hints of toffee. It has a great flavor profile, but I would say this is a pale ale not IPA. It’s missing the bitterness... Still good tho.

Light amber colour, with white/beige head. Very hoppy aroma, and taste is very hoppy, with citrus and floral notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear dark amber pour with a small off white head which leaves some sheeting. Nose is lots of pine and citrus hops with a small toffee background. Very light caramel start followed by an impressive bitter wallop of hops. Long dry finish after a slightly watery mouth and average carbonation. Nasty in a good hoppy way.
