Light amber colour, with white/beige head. Very hoppy aroma, and taste is very hoppy, with citrus and floral notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

jksipa (278) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 20, 2014
Clear dark amber pour with a small off white head which leaves some sheeting. Nose is lots of pine and citrus hops with a small toffee background. Very light caramel start followed by an impressive bitter wallop of hops. Long dry finish after a slightly watery mouth and average carbonation. Nasty in a good hoppy way.

Lubiere (9747) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2014
A hazed murky amber ipa with a thin off white head. In aroma, maderized biscuit malt with smooth floral hops, resinous character, doughy notes, nice. In mouth, a crisp biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, bit tired but still solid. Bottle from LCBO, about 3 years old.

UXO (113) - CANADA - APR 19, 2014
Pours a clear copper with one finger of white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, light lacing. Nose is piney hops, with a little malt backing. Taste delivers exactly what the nose promises. Mouth feel is medium-bodied, with a lingering bitter hop finish. It might be a nasty habit, but its my kind of nasty habit.

MunBro (229) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - APR 15, 2014
Aroma slightly malty and hoppy. Pours a rich copper color with a quick fading head. Taste is a bit funky. Not a great IPA but not the worst I have had either.

Bottle courtesy Fratto. Pours a clear orange red color with a light bubbly head. Aroma is sweet hops, a nice citrusy note with hops. Flavor is dry, hoppy sweet, sugary and candy. Wow this is actually nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great beer! Hoppy aroma with fruity after taste. For those who have tasted a "Matilda Bay -Fat Yak" it is similar but sweeter but unfortunately low on head and gas. Still, Mt Begbie can do no wrong with their "strong beers".

sulawang (593) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 10, 2013
pours a nice clear copper orange with a small head and thin retention, almost no activity. Strong citrus malts and sour hops on the nose. Attack: 5/10-sweetness, light creamy Mid-palate: very sharp bitter, dryness, bitter hops, orange peel, grapefruit with pith Finish: lingering hoppy bitter, slightly watery carry. Quite sharp bitter grapefruity hops on this one. Not the most gentle of IPAs, beware.
