A generously hopped IPA, balanced by a diabolical blend of rich specialty malts and pure mountain water. A wicked ale that leaves you lusting for more!

(bottle) clear golden amber colour with a small white head; aromas of citrus, tropical fruit; balanced flavour with a long strong bitter finish, quite good

Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde color ale with a relatively large foamy head with average retention and some alight lacing. Aroma of bitter hops with light citrus notes is not as powerful as I would have expected. Taste is a solid mix between some citrus notes with caramel malt and some floral hops with a bitter finish. Body is light with good carbonation. Not bad but nothing really exciting here.

It pours copper with orange highlights; the head is bone coloured and foamy. The aroma has notes of: white-grapefruit and pine. The taste is medium bitter that finishes dry; the aroma notes follow into the taste. The palate is medium bodied with medium-light carbonation (tiny bubbles), and an astringent medium finish. Overall, eh... it’s an IPA alright...

650ml bottle. Clear copper body, medium beige head, decent retention. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, pine...classic IPA. Nicely balanced taste, mild malt sweetness upfront, caramel, floral/herbal hop bitterness. Fairly long bitter aftertaste. Flat carbonation, light body for an IPA.

bomber from the LCBO. clear deep ornage with a lasting off white head. that laces, perfect looking IPA. deep resinous hop aroma, supporting malt body. clean flavour with excellent progression, a slight bit too watery late. the finish is balanced. really good IPA, very under rated.

Bottle. Clear amber. Pretty big hoppy aroma. Some grass, the usual citrus, pine and resin. Soft and smooth. Nice toffee malty backbone. Dry bitter finish characteristic of the style. Nothing crazy going on here, but it’s a well balanced, solid hoppy IPA.

22oz bottle from the LCBO. Pours a nice orange amber colour with a white foamy head. Aromas of citrus and pine hops, flavours follow aroma.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear orange-brown with a bunch of white fluffy head that dissipates quickly and leaves a good amount of lacing. Smell is a good blend of citrus and pine hops, very nice but could stand to be more intense. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with not much carbonation. Taste is a bit sweet at first but then quickly getting into hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter at first but then strangely gets a bit sweet. Not bad overall.

This Canadian IPA from the LCBO pours a deep amber colour with a nice off-white head that remains pretty good and creates a bit of lace. Fresh Cascade hop nose with the grapefruit notes being nicely balanced with a little sweetness from the caramel malts. After breathing a while, the aromas tend to stick out as oranges (so maybe Amarillo are also in there). Wet mouthfeel, making this one easier to consume than dry ones (IPA). Surprisingly not as bitter as expected. The grain really comes through, blending well with citrus. This is pretty much the best middle of the road IPA that I have had. Good drinkability and beautiful hop, without being a hop bomb.

Bomber from LCBO. Pours clear dark amber with a thin head. Aroma of orange, peach, cherry, and slight caramel. Taste is reasonably balanced, reasonably tasty, but nothing extraordinary. Moderately bitter finish. Thin-bodied.
