3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is sweet with toffee and caramel. Body is a little thin and initially sweet. A bit of bitterness comes through mid palate and finishes with sweet caramel malts. Not bad. Not great.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
650mL room temperature bottle into a tulip
This is my kind of aroma, flowery, spicy, caramel, and mango. It pours a beautiful clear amber colour with a nice sized tan head. After letting it sit for a few minutes, the head shrinks to 1/2 a centimeter and remains for a long time. Starts sweet but ends bitter. Some of the caramel and floweriness comes through in the taste. Light and thin body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Compared with the beers I can get in my local area, this is a fine IPA, perhaps a session beer, but in no way is it outstanding.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear reddish amber with lingering film of white head. Tropical hop aroma - big time passion fruit, backed up with peach. Taste is quite impressively bitter and aromatic to open, moving to a dry bittersweet finish. Pleasant drink with very nice fruitiness - could benefit from a bit more malt presence.

Bottled sample. Dark orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of caramel, pine sap, and candied orange peel. Caramel and pale malts upfront on the palate, along with notes of black pepper, lemon, and wood. Moderately bitter finish. Too malt heavy for me, but not bad overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Interesting IPA. Pours a maple syrup colour with creamy white head. Smells like pine, grapefruit, a touch of juicy tropical fruit, and some interesting smoky/woody/ savory aromas. Nice smooth palate. Malty start, not too sweet, milder bitter finish...all around interesting ipa that I enjoyed.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber- very clear copper, one finger fizzy white head and lacing. Nose- slightly surprised to find some resinous piney notes- has potential. Mixed in with that nice hop is cracker and caramel. Taste- caramel and toasty cereals. A bit watered down. That hop nose doesn’t carry forward all that strong in taste and is more in the background. Certainley a very well balanced ipa, but not to my preference. Slightly sweet finish. Sessionable yes, depth of flavour and mouthfeel - not so much. Decent.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is the sort of IPA I like. Not crazy bitter, but with plenty of sweet malts and honey. Aroma of grapefruit.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 Citrusy aroma. Attractive amber colour with last foamy white head, nice lacing. Not overly bitter, actually quite malty and sweet. Nice.

Not your typical hop-head bomb. Delicate, with a fantastically citrusy nose. Along with Inversion, this is one of my North American favorites.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear light amber, fading foamy off white head. Piney citrus hop aroma. Crisp resiny hop taste, some citrus notes, low malt background. Average carbonation. Finishes hoppy, dry and bitter. Hopiliscious! LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)
