Not your typical hop-head bomb. Delicate, with a fantastically citrusy nose. Along with Inversion, this is one of my North American favorites.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 dreamflower (343) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
This is the sort of IPA I like. Not crazy bitter, but with plenty of sweet malts and honey. Aroma of grapefruit.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Powertrip (999) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 31, 2010
Light brown colour with orange hues and a healthy head. Nose: Luscious and bountiful hops, more hop, and then some hop. A one-man-band but a bloody good band at that! Taste: Freshest of fresh hop blast moving to redwood shaded pine. A tangy-tart gesture works its way in. Clamato juice imitation also comes forward. Touch of soap. Some old aged oak shows late and a light maple-like finish rides off. The freshness of this one is outstanding. Fabulous stuff! Brilliant!

bomber from the LCBO. clear deep ornage with a lasting off white head. that laces, perfect looking IPA. deep resinous hop aroma, supporting malt body. clean flavour with excellent progression, a slight bit too watery late. the finish is balanced. really good IPA, very under rated.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Beer Snob (484) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2010
Fantastic, if a bit expensive.
Nice hop blast with a touch of citrus on the nose. The taste is rich and bitter, but the hops are under control. A beautiful tang on the tongue and even in the 650ml bottle, this one disappears quite quickly and smoothly.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 JoeZasada (265) - Beaumont, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 27, 2011
Bomber bottle. Pours a slightly hazxy reddish amber with a thin but lasting white head. Floral aroma. Tastes of hops - some citrus, spruce, with a warming malt sweet undertone. Finishes with a citrus/grass bitter hop taste. Very very good...

(bottle) clear golden amber colour with a small white head; aromas of citrus, tropical fruit; balanced flavour with a long strong bitter finish, quite good
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 pootzboy (1451) - Hawgville, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2010 Bottle.
Pours an amber ale with a puffy cap. Aroma is all PacNW- citrus, floral fruity big caramel malting. Rich mouth feel. Big crystal malting meets big Yakama hopping in good balance..some fruits, citrus, earthyness....bittering increases to the clean bitter finish that ends with a tangerine bite.
One of Canada’s best MIcro IPAs....a superior Anchor Liberty clone.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 cyrenaica (941) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 18, 2012
650ml bottle
6.0% ABV
King/Spadina LCBO
September 26, 2012
Beer pours a dark gold colour, semi-translucent, with a generous lasting light tan head. Aroma is caramel malt, and citrusy hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is grapefruity hops, with some sweet fruit and malt hints. If this beer was cheaper ($5.60 for a 650ml bottle), drinking it could become a habit.
