2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 WheatKing (701) - Oak Bay, British Columbia, - JUL 24, 2012The aroma and taste of this one are both recognizable, but feels like they come from different beers... the aroma is of crystalline hay, the flavour (which I admit is mainly aroma itself, but what you feel when exhaling while drinking) is caramel coffeeish. Only at the finish did I pick up on hops, which were mildly lemony. OK, but not coherent.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2012
Draught at Burgoo on 10th Ave W, Vancouver, as “Burgoo Brew” house ale Light amber color, with creamy head. Aroma of biscuits, malt, cereals. Dry mouthfeel, with a decent grainy caramel flavor and ordinary bitterness. Pleasant, with a personal touch.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (3259) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 2, 2012
650ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head that settles quite quickly leaving only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light grassy hops with some caramel. Taste is a light caramel malty sweetness with some grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with abundant carbonation. A pretty decent pale ale, but would be better with a more pronounced hoppiness.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lagerboy (663) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 24, 2012
Bright clear copper fading foamy tan head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt. Light caramel roasty malt taste, faint hop background. Light body, average carbonation. Mild dry finish. Very pleasant. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Tap. Pours dark amber with a slight head. Aroma butter, sweet american hops. After a day in the slope, this was perfect. But as a beer Not Bad.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 bcBelgianbrew (55) - , British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 31, 2011
I had really low expectations. I enjoyed drinking it. 750ml bottle. I’d look to buy it over the myriad of microbreweries in British Columbia that do pretty much the same thing. I’d like to try it on tap in Revelstoke.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JoeZasada (265) - Beaumont, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 20, 2011
Bomber bottle. Pours a clear, medium amber with a lasting light tan head. Aroma of malt, notes of nuts. Taste is malty, some hop bitterness, some floral notes. Finish is of floral hops. Medium-bodied, excellent carbonation. Good for the style.

Bottled (shared by brunnsbe, thanks!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is honey, some sweet malts, fruits as well as some mild floral hops. Flavour is quitr the same with caramel malts and some mild herbal notes.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 robinvboyer (2576) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 11, 2010
Another pale ale that comes up very short in the hops department. Dark amber pour, not very pale ale like. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, and some light nuts. Flavor was mealy, and nutty, with a sweet finish. Not hops to be found.
