3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours amber (as one would hope) with a creamy head. Aroma is hoppy, but not overpowering. Slight caramel malt aroma detectable as well. Flavor is a mix of medium-roasted malts and a subtle balancing hoppiness. This beer has a slightly creamy texture and is a little thicker than other amber ales Iíve tried, which in my opinion is a good thing. Really not a bad beer at all.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft: pours a lovely amber copper color with a light tan head. Aromas are nice, caramel and some hops shining through. Taste is mild, but distinctive...very earthy and malty, but a nice clean finish from a decent hop presence.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
It poured a hazy amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of caramel, toast, biscuit and some fruity notes. The taste was of caramel, biscuit, fruits and a bitter spicy finish. Decent.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. 11/22/13. Pours clear amber color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet, slightly tart, grass, fruit peel, hops; smells tasty. Taste is sweet, earthy, grass, yeast, some bitter orange peel, crisp, refreshing; finish is brown sugar, citrus peel. Very light lacing. Mouth feel is chewy, medium bodied. Very wet, watery. Nothing outstanding. Surprisingly tasty and refreshing. I would order this in a bar.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from 12 ounce bottle from Mt. Carmel 12 pack sampler purchased at Delhi Kroger. Dark amber color, small tan head, nice firm nose of mostly malt with enough bitterness to keep things honest, good malty flavor with balancing bitterness thatís much like the aroma. This brew seems to be Mt. Carmelís de facto flagship beer and is worthy of such an honor. Very good for style.

Fizzy, amber-orange with a smooth, bone-coloured head.
Slightly cheesy, caramel aroma.
Taste is creamy, caramel malt.
Lightly spiced....a hint of nuts.
Not bad, except for initial scent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It pours a little less than what I expected from an amber ale, but finishes with a smooth taste. Not a bad brew from a small and local brewery. Would try again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft to taster at the brewery. Looks solid; a fairly transparent golden amber with fluffy off-white head. Smells and tastes of mild malt and hops with an average mouthfeel. An easy drinking but forgettable amber ale.
