Pours black with a tan head. The aroma is lightly roasted. A light coffiesh flavor is the only discernable flavor and is somewhat weak and watery at the finish.

Bought a growler of this at Belmont Party Supply in Dayton. Shared it with some friends at a cookout tonight. Wonderful nose of spice & toffee, molasses & coffee. Very rich, and presents more hops notes as brew warms. Pours a dark hazy brown. The stiff frothy beige head is mostly diminishing and leaves no lace. The flavor has a balanced front & middle, though more malt than hops. Unfortunately the finish needs work. It is weak by the tamest standards. The medium body is soft and dry. Not a serious contender in the world of stouts.

64oz Growler purchased from Belmont Party Supply in Dayton - Pours very dark brown almost black with a creamy tan head that stayed pretty well and laced the sides of the glass pretty well. Big aromas of coffee, and undertones of caramel and chocolate. Flavor is a smooth blend of coffee, milk chocolate, and caramel. Slight lingering coffee aftertaste that was pleasant to me. Medium bodied but a shade to the watery side. Amazingly drinkable though and a fantastic session stout. I’m looking forward to trying other brews by this brewer..

Had on tap at Macs in clifton. Poured a deep brown, nearly black color with a small brown head. Has a strong aroma of coffee and some chocolate. Strong flavor of coffee, with some chocolate and roasted malts. Rather thin for a stout. A great starting point for someone just getting into dark beer.

Growler from BP Clough. Dark brown with large brown head that diminished slowly and had good lacing. Medium aroma of caramel and roasted coffee. Medium body with a creamy texture. Medium flavor of coffee and chocolate with a small sweet finish. Good start to style.
