Aug 9, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. Dark amber color with a beige head. Light roasted malt aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is a mixture of light stone fruit and citrus over caramel. Finishes nicely fruity bitter.

Jul 8, 2008 Caramel, toasted malts, and nuts in the aroma. Pours orange amber with a thin head. Light caramel sweetness with a touch of nuttiness. More crisp then bitter in terms of hops. Drinks well.

Jun 15, 2008 Draft at Hood RIver Hops Fest 2007. An unclear brown beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet matly with light notes fo butter, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Jan 23, 2008 Had this from the tap at Pacific Crest Pub and hostel in Cascade Locks. An unassuming APA. Smooth, light, well balanced. Goes very well with a meal. Satisfying but won’t take over your palate. Had this with a cup of smoked salmon chowder which was quite tasty and satisfying also. Good combo.

Jan 1, 2008 On cask at Horse Brass in Portland, OR--Poured a bustling thick off-whitish creamy head with a medium amber-copper body. Minuscule nose that was mildly malty and sweet with some faint hops presence. Balanced and uber-sessionable. I played darts and sipped this beer. Way to easy to drink quick. Chewy and mildly bitter and gritty. Not so spectacular.
