Sep 28, 2002 Also sampled at the Oregon Brewers Festival 7.26.02.Medium brown color. Malty and slightly spicy. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Jul 29, 2002 Sampled at the Oregon Brewers Festival 7/28/02. A dark amber color, with a thin head that faded quickly. Not a whole lot of aroma. Tasted pleasant, mildly bitter front to back. Only the second rye I’ve ever had, the other being the now discontinued Red Hook Unfiltered Rye, so its a little difficult to rate as to style, but I liked it.
