12oz bottle 7/17/09 (Siciliano’s Market-Grand Rapids)-Pours a very slight hazy copper with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and sweetness. Taste of sweetness, malt, slight hops, caramel, and toffee. This light to medium bodied brew is an OK brew with nothing to write home about.

12oz bottle thanks to xnoxhatex. An amber ale this does not appear to be. Pours a glowing bright golden red with a light wispy white head. Aroma is green apple and rich caramel. Flavor is dry, some rich pure sweet caramel underneath of the sparkling dryness, hard candy sweetness, lightly spicy/peppery. Medium/light bodied, slightly sticky, hard candy feel, fine fizzy carbonation.

Bottle from Siciliano’s Market, Grand Rapids, MI. Clear red with small beige head. Aroma is subtle sweet with red fruit, a little sourness. Grainy and sweeter red fruit, slight sourness, caramel, spicey, drying hop finish. Medium and lightly carbonated. Sessionable but grainy.

Metal, medicinal taste. Little aroma. Amber color with little "red" color. Thin body. A sub-par area brew, but I wish them the best with future brews!

On tap @ brewpub 10/21/9..Copper with big foamy head that fades quickly. Very little aroma, maybe some caramel malt and floral hops. Flavor is slightly toasty, with some caramel malt and fruity hop notes. Palate is slightly watery with average carbonation. Avrerage overall.

Bottled as Mt. Pleasant Cow Catcher Red. Body is a nice copper with a very small head. Sweet and malty aromas, but there is a bit of a funky metal, rotting vegetation undercurrent that makes me a little hesitant. First sip is an experience... a bit of a caramel malt presence at first, but then a quick betrayal into the hands of an angry and metallic god. Herbal and metal and bitter... Most of this bottle s contents will be found in area sewers soon.
