3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle from Sicilianoís in Grand Rapids, MI. Pours dark orange with a huge, foamy off-white head. Clean aroma of roses, tangerines, and light caramel malt. The taste is of bitter grapefruit and piney hops with a fairly balanced malt presence. Overall mouthfeel is a bit thin even for an IPA vs. a DIPA. A good overall IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a light amber with a light white head. Nose is fresh citrus and flowery hops and the right amount of malt bone. Flavor is very hop forward with the same flowery hops and seems like it sports a quality dryhop. Highly bitter yet smooth. Not bad.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
More like a pale ale to me. Pours a fiery red. The sweet nose is piney and citrusy, somewhat flat and stale though. Medium body. No real malt profile in the body, just more stale hops and moderate bitterness. A nice drinker, but a weak IPA.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour form a 12 oz bottle. Medium amber, slightly cloudy, one finger of off white head. Aroma dominated by resinous hoppiness - nice. Taste follows the aroma - a tart hoppiness comes on with the start of the swallow and transforms into a very nicely balanced hoppy finish. There are a lot of fine modern IPAís out there these days, and this one can claim a spot with the best.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a really nice and pungent hop aroma, slightly grainy, grapefruit, and an overall citrus scent. Appearance is a light amber color with a medium sized white head that lingers. Taste is got a nice bitter hop texture, grapefruit, pine needles, and some lemon. Actually pretty good. I think this is a above par India Pale Ale all around. Cheers!

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Really, really sad. the hops limp along in the background but since there isn't much up front aside from some brackish and unfortunate malt, that is a sad state of affairs. The waitress did say that they were having technical difficulties with the tap or lines or some such thing, so perhaps some benefit of the doubt is in order.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Copper colored pour with a loose, 1-finger, off-white head. Nice resiny pine and grapefruit aroma with a little orange and lemon zest, an earthy caramel backbone and some subtle pepperiness. The flavor is much more malt forward that the aroma. Thereís lots of caramel and graham cracker more like a pale ale than an IPA but it still makes the IPA category with a decent dose cascade on the finish. The body is somewhat dry and watery with lots of soft carbonation. Very easy drinking and balanced but if its loads of hop character you want, go elsewhere.
