22. This is a rock-solid little amber. Pours a clear dark amber with a loose light gray head that doesn’t stick around. Pleasant toasty dark malt and caramel nose with a little bit of gingerbread. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty dark caramel on the mid palate. Needs a lot more going on if it’s gonna really knock your hair back, but they’re doing everything right within the boundaries of the style.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a cream-colored head. Aroma of floral hops plus caramel and pale malts. The flavor has a good balance of the two, but neither flavor is strong. Average texture. Not a bad beer, but not great.

Translucent copper with a thin but persistent beige head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation.

Aroma: caramel malt, a hint of roast, and some herbal hops.

Taste: dry grassy malt, crystal malt, a touch of roast, and mild herbal hop bitterness.

Has all the elements of an Irish red, but they are not particularly pleasant or unified.

This beer has a amazingly beautiful copper color. It has a great aroma. It tastes sweet at first but a mild hoppy bitterness comes through. It is very strange how there is almost no carbonation in it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice light hoppy taste and fruity aroma. A very well balanced beer to enjoy on a Sunday afternoon.

Six pack from a local wine store that sells random six packs every once in a while. Pours a clear, dark amber color with a decent off white/tan head. Notes of dark chocolate, salted nuts and strawberry. Really tasty and refreshing at cool temperatures, but make sure you drink this beer quickly, it gets a bit muddled when warmed. Overall, not a bad beer.

Strong malt aroma. Clear sunset orange color with a small white head. Moderate malt beginning that fades in the finish. Good palate.

It’s an amber ale what else can I say. A damn good one. A classic beer that sets the tone for all their beers. All their beers have a fresh rustic appeal. Very real. So many beer out there taste like they have artificial ingredients. Mt. Shasta’s dont!
