22. Pours a cloudy medium amber with a dense and creamy whitish head. Not much lace. Big sweet nose, definitely showing the jalaps and some caramel. Creamy medium body with bright wooly carb. Lots of sweet green pepper flesh jalap presence on the mid palate, definitely the overarching flavor by far, but the caramel maltiness is there to balance that. Long warm finish. Easy to drink. Not a bad pepper beer.

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Hazy gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Nice weedy start - quite vegetal. Then a huge chilli kick and the heat just keeps going. Too hot.

Bomber poured a clear tarnished gold with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of tortillas and jalapeno. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a warming finish. Flavors of jalapenos and light tortilla with a crisp warming lingering jalapeno finish.

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Pours fuzzy yellow with a fine, white foam head. Lots of dry, heat-suggesting jalapeno on the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with pale malts, white sugar, then hot peppers. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bit of spicy heat at the end, mostly green pepper. It’s a spicy beer with a tolerable amount of heat - unlike many of the spicy beers I’ve had, which have been basically undrinkable.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ chriso s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012.

Light unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, wheat, moderate to light heavy jalapeno. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long to average duration, chili -jalapeno, burning - warm, vegetables - wheat, sweet cabbage water. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120804]

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s deep gold with a small head. Floaties abound in the glass. The nose is chili, green pepper, capsicum, some cheddar cheese. The taste is light chili, vegetable flavors, herbs. Light body, active carbonation. Overall, this is actually much better than I thought it would be. A drinkable novelty.

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF tasting 2012. Peppery, earthy nose with strangely a bit of beetroot. Mild chilli kick in the flavour. Spicy warm finish. Not too bad.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours straw yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is herbal, spice, vegetal, capsicum and corn. The taste is jalapeno, capsicum, green vegetables and some underlying sweet pale malt, with a spicy finish. The chilli heat creeps up on you. Light body and average carbonation. Not as bad as expected!
