bb (2644), Martinez, California, USA Jun 12, 2009 Bottle. Golden amber beer with a thin off-white head. Light sweet malt aroma with light hops. Sweet malt flavor with light mineral and light grass tones. Medium bodied. Easy drinking. Sweet malt and light mineral notes linger. TomDecapolis (2937), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 8, 2009 Tap at CAH. Pours a translucent golden amber with a smaller bubbly/creamy off white head. Aroma of sweet bready malt, citrusy and floral hops, lightly spicy. Flavor of the same, kinda sweet. troopie (723), USA May 24, 2009 Draught at Saraveza. Poured golden yellow with lasting white head. Grassy aroma, like new mown lawn. Flavour of sweet malt, with a hoppy edge to refresh the thirst. Moderate finish, rather hoppy. This would make a good session beer in the pub. riversideAK (2364), Shoreline, Washington, USA May 24, 2009 Hazy yellow gold pour with a thin head. The aroma is rather bready with some sweetness and bitterness in the nose as well. Bready, biscuity, lightly sweet with a hint of bitterness in the finish. A little peppery and somewhat crisp. Soft carbonation and a little bitterness lingers. Beardface (765), Eugene, Oregon, USA Apr 17, 2009 22 oz bottle from Belmont Station. Poured a clear golden color with a thick white head. Floral aroma with some biscuity malt and light grass. Flavor is mostly that malt with a light hop feel lurking behind. Unpleasant finish that’s too bitter for the style. Oscbert (467), Sacramento, California, USA Apr 9, 2009 ~Pours golden with white head.
~Nice estery smell of yeast, banana and spice.
~Spicy burnt malts, little bit bitter and yeasty in flavor.
~Light feel, good finish.
~This is a tasty lager. hayduke (1471), Eureka, California, USA Nov 19, 2008 This pour, from my local Northcoast Coop, poured a golden color with a good and long lasting white head and nice sticky lacing rings. Nose of floral and citrus hops with light caramel malts in good balance. Very smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the citrus and the finish shows very light bitterness. Very easy to drink. boFNjackson (1008), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 25, 2008 IMO, a pretty good pilsner. Bottle... Poured golden with a huge white head. Cracker-malt on the nose. Sweet, floral flavors that had a dry-hopped taste which lingers throughout the rest of the mouthful. Finished with biscuits and malt.
