~Great lager! Crisp and refreshing. Good flavor. Excellent session brew! boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 25, 2008 IMO, a pretty good pilsner. Bottle... Poured golden with a huge white head. Cracker-malt on the nose. Sweet, floral flavors that had a dry-hopped taste which lingers throughout the rest of the mouthful. Finished with biscuits and malt. hayduke (1619), Eureka, California, USA Nov 19, 2008 This pour, from my local Northcoast Coop, poured a golden color with a good and long lasting white head and nice sticky lacing rings. Nose of floral and citrus hops with light caramel malts in good balance. Very smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the citrus and the finish shows very light bitterness. Very easy to drink. Reid (1085), Salem, Oregon, USA Jul 20, 2008 22 oz bottle.
Nice golden yellow colour, with a slight haze about it, good long lasting thick head.
Soft grassy aromas, doughy too,caramel.
Doughy thick flavour, biscuity, sweet thick malts, some under pinning of hop.
Very nice palate, nice long lasting peppery bitterness in the after taste.
Overall I thought this a very intresting beer
It is NOT a pilsner, i thought if anything it was a helles style lager.
troopie (848), USA May 24, 2009 Draught at Saraveza. Poured golden yellow with lasting white head. Grassy aroma, like new mown lawn. Flavour of sweet malt, with a hoppy edge to refresh the thirst. Moderate finish, rather hoppy. This would make a good session beer in the pub. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Aug 1, 2008 Golden colored. Aroma is grass, bread, lightly floral. Medium bodied, very clean and very drinkable. I enjoyed this a lot more than their golden. bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA Aug 8, 2008 Bomber from Weed Alehouse. Golden color with a slight orange tinge. The white head diminished rapidly. Aromas of biscuit and floral/grassy hop. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is bready, a hint papery, floral/citrus bitter and lightly spicey at the finish. Citrus seems to become stronger with time. It’s really kind to the mouth. Not extremely dry. Much better than I’m describing. Try it, if you can. marcus (1821), Sacramento, California, USA Aug 27, 2008 This golden pilsner poured with a nice white head and a floral aroma. It has a lot of flavor for a pilsner. The malt is rather prominent and there is a bit of lemon in the finish.
