1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 monk191 (394) - California, USA - OCT 16, 2012
Bad. Color of pee. Not much smell. Tastes like it’s gone bad. Tastes a little bit like PBR. There is one particular hint of metal, finishes a little hoppy, but slight. Was expecting something interesting, but it tastes pretty much like any domestic, maybe worse.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 mrhoppy (902) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JUL 27, 2012
Well crafted but not my thing. I really don’t get lagers. I need a lagers fan to clue me in. Their smoother? Who cares. They never knock your socks off.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 19Ei8hty (1082) - Washington, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Light orange hued straw body with a tall head that quickly retreats to into the ether. Lightly toasted bread malt body, a bit chewy with a musty component. Some light banana. Some vegetable character. Definitely a strong English hop quality Exceptionally dry and moderately crisp finish. Not bad but just a bit on the funky side.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 kmweaver (3151) - Petaluma, California, USA - AUG 21, 2011
Draft at weed alehouse. Bright, effervescent golden; stale and a touch vegetal in the nose. Medium-light body; moderate carbonation. Minerally, toasty core; slightly more focused and crisp than the golden, with a mire assertive hop character. Nice, crisp and toasty finish. Slightly more dialed in than the golden aside from the nose.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with an average, creamy white head, medium retention with good retention. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cookie, meal, cereal), light hops (spicy), and clean lager notes. Flavor is moderate malt with a nice, crisp hop bitterness and a clean lager character. Light body, low warmth, medium carbonation and a dry finish.

22oz Bottle from: mainbrew.com
Visual: Bright gold, crystal clear, long lasting fluffy head with nice lacework.
Nose: Clean pilsner malt aroma, no dms, nice noble hop fragrance.
Palate: Nice and spicy noble hops, very clean and smooth pilsner malt flavor, crisp body and mouth feel.
Conclusion: This is a solid helles/pilsner. Has a refreshing hop bitterness and a great all around everyday drinker that would satisfy an eclectic audience.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Strykzone (3866) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - DEC 9, 2010
22 oz. bottle from Hayduke. Light haze in the golden pour and a very small off white head that lasts just moments. The aroma was a surprise in its spicy European hops. Flavor begins with those same hops. Soon some honey and then funkiness. This was a better and more interesting beer than I first assumed. It has just a bit of attitude that won me over.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - AUG 6, 2010
Light gold with a medium-sized white head. Lightly grainy malt aroma with a touch of floral hops. The flavoris a bit minerally and has a corny sweetness that puts it just out of the clean drinkability that I expect from the style. Light bodied with a medium carbonation level. Not my favorite from them.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mkade8883 (250) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2010
Pours light golden in color with long lasting voluminous white head. Aroma is all beautiful light malt, biscuit and bread. Medium-high carbonation leads to a hop dominated flavor. Wonderful bitterness and noble hop flavor, dry finish and the slightest bit of malt sweetness. Really enjoyable pils.
