Bought it for the bottle cap, which reads "Try Legal Weed". From a 12-oz. bottle, this pours a clear medium copper with a nice white head. Good lacing. Full hopped aroma, complete with pine & grapefruit hints. Surprisingly sweet, syrupy candy corn initial taste followed by a piney, citrusy hoppiness. Good balance between the tastes. Fairly full & smooth mouthfeel; not overcarbonated. Quite a respectable brew, if you ask me.

355ml bottle pours a brownish orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and light citrus. Taste is an earthy and light citrus bitterness with a caramel malty backbone. Medium bodied with adequate carbonation leaving a nice sensation on the palate. A decent IPA that is highly recommended.

Beautiful amber color. Very nice aroma, fruity, apricot jam and Citra hops. Lean body, with good mix of flavors: malt, caramel, jam, mild resins. The bitterness is not too high; the final is drier.
Fresh and very pleasant.

Fresh earthy hops along with some roasted caramel on the aroma. Standard copper with a medium sized foam top. Decent, sweet caramel malts shade a light. Overall, very thin and flavorless and somewhat watered down. Not a memorable IPA in the slightest. D rating.

Hazy orange color with a modest head, ok retention and nice lace. Citrus and grassy hops aromas that feature pineapple and grapefruit. Hops bitterness accompanied by with bread/toast malt sweetness. Light to medium body, lots of carbonation, a smooth on the tongue, and a crisp finish. A good example of the difference between an East Coast IPA and a West Coast IPA.

Crisp copper coloured body with a very thin, oily off-white head. Aroma of grass, hay, a little malt and not much hops at all. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hops with a hint of resin and a little sweetness with almost no body or malt showing. Aftertaste is pretty much all light hops, unsupported by malt or anything else. Overall, a one-dimensional IPA that doesn’t have any body or malt - a few hops and mainly a herbal and grassy flavour on a thin body with no complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased on 03-February-2012 from Total Wine in Tustin, California for US$1.79 sampled at home in Washington on 22-March-2012.

Off clear amber orange, sparse head. Aroma is spruce and citrus. Well hopped with a nice malt balance. Resinous and flat, could use more carbonation. Hoppy finish. Love the label!

12 oz. bottle- Pours a slightly hazy orange with a too thin head that recedes to just some bubbles. The aroma is all pine and grapefruit hops, somewhat resinous, classic American IPA aroma. The taste is Piney hops, followed by sweet citrus grapefruit and melon, there is also a nice amount of bitterness, but not more than alot of other IPA’s on the market, there is also a sturdy malt backbone, but not enough to not know what style you are drinking. Body is medium, carbonation is unfortunately too low, especially for the style. If they fixed the imperfections, this would be a winner, the taste and aroma are decent enough, just need to work on the carbonation issues.
