Commercial Description: Hopfenweisse is an extremely new style of beer with only 4 examples existing in the world. It is based on the classic German Hefe-weizen but with a hop profile and bitterness more akin to that of a Pilsner. MT Hopfenweisse is made from all German wheat and barley malts with hops coming from New Zealand. It has a cloudy yellow colour with an aroma of banana, cloves and tropical fruit. In the mouth it shows a dry bitterness that is very refreshing. Well paired with white fleshed fish, BBQ’d rosemary scallops or soft cheeses.
