If your not a hop head put this beer back. We use crisp desert water, a strong malt profile and a double dose of dry hopping will make you a believer.

Hazed golden color with sudsy white head. Slight orangey aroma. This is an impressively dry beer, it leaves you thirsty for another sip in a refreshing sort of way...earthy, dry hoppiness dominates.

[Bottle] Copper colored pour with a small cap of foamy white head on top. Floral and grassy hops in the nose. Sweet English malts, light pine needles, toffee and dry cereal grains in the flavor. Dry and resinous finish. Rather thin in body. Not too bad... must be the ícrisp desert waterí from the description. Tasting notes from 8/2014.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a smallish off-white head on there. Nose is quite hoppy, with some grapefruit notes being really forward and just a bit of resin underneath. Taste is light and bitter, moderately so, and makes for a pretty easy drink. I canít complain about this.

Bottle. Golden orange, little to no head. A bit bready and malty, I donít get much of a hop character at all. Not necessarily a badly made beer, just drinks more like a fest than an IPA. (#5910, 12/31/2014)

Btl pours murky yellow with a thick head that lingers leaving some spots of lace. Aromas of bread citrus and toffee. Tastes of sweet caramel and bitter hops. Medium body, average carbonation, slick mouthfeel and a tingly mineral finish. Average IPA not too bad!

Can: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy caramel, fruit, and aged citrus hops. It pours a hazy amber with a one finger off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with moderate caramel, toffee, citrus, and fruit. The finish has aged citrus hops and light cardboard. Itís medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this has way too much caramel for an IPA, and the hop flavors lead me to believe this is an old can.

Poured from a chilled 12oz bottle into a tulip glass, nice head formation that falls within a few minutes leaving a small amount of lacing. Color is dark amber/copper and the head is cream/wheat off-white. Beer starts with a smooth, sweet (light, not overly sweet) malty profile thatís quickly followed by a strong spicy/bitter dry hop taste and finishes with a weird metallic aftertaste. This beer really pleases my palate, i love the balance of malts to hops, much more malt than most IPAs while still retaining a nice hoppy kick. I really dislike the strong metallic taste though. If it was a bit lower in alc (7.2%, which i should mention is very well masked) I would consider this to be a good session beer. It doesnít leave a heavy feeling in my stomach and the dryness always leaves me wanting another sip. I would buy this beer for myself again, I would recommend this beer to my friends.

Bottle from BevMo, Phoenix. A lot more malt than hops in the aroma than I was expecting, as well as some citrus. Pours an opaque golden color with a thin white head and scant lacing. Taste is like the aroma with a lot of malt up front with some citrus. The finish had the dry hoppy bite of an IPA though. Not a bad beer, but didn't seem to have the right balance for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a can, it has a stone fruit aroma, but thereís some pine in the flavor. Not bad for a small brewery in the middle of the desert!

Can 1 oz. Pours clear copper amber with a nice beige head. Aroma is malty caramel almost too swet hoppy citric piny fruity. Flavor is like aroma; nicely sweet malty with a good bitter bite, lots of piny and grapefruit character, longlived finish.

Can thanks to a friend. Crisp gold/cream head. Nose is malts, light hop, sweet, and bitter. Easy palate, malty, bitter hops, faint citrus.
