3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of dusted orange spices, candy lemondrops, yeast and wheat. Flavors of sugared lemon bread, caramel, toffee, and all spice. Alcohol well hidden. Leaves a oversweet coating on the tongue that takes the rating down a notch. Could benefit from a more acidic and tart mouthfeel that would be more true to the style. Overall, was a gift and worth a try.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz can pours with an opaque orange sort of golden brown colored body that supports a weak off white head. The aroma offers up sugary malt sweetened citrus as well as some Belgian yeasty spices. The taste is pretty slick and sweet with sugar malts and then honey, over ripe pear and then bits of sweetened citrus. To midway it also picks up some mild spicy notes. Yeah, too sweet, too muddled too much time on the Total Wine shelf (shame on you Total Wine).

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Total Wine. Cloudy orange with lasting head and lace. Bubblegum and caramel and yeast aroma. Very sickly sweet old oranges and marshmallows and bubble gum with spicy mild bitterness and extended cloy. Thick sticky body. Double white is not a good style IMHO. Gross.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
"looks like your average wit, cloudy off-white/yellow. thin head. the aroma is pleasantly fresh - spice, coriander, citrus and wheat. after that the feel and flavor fall a bit short, but are ok."

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes. Consumed during my AZ trip.
The appearance was mostly a clear somewhat hazy golden orange color. light one finger head dies to basically notying over top of the beer. There is a light carbonation that is seen rising at a moderate pace.
The smell had a sweet sticky orange yeastiness with light Belgian spices backing it up.
The taste was a spicy sweet all the way through, light yeasty yet somewhat spicy aftertaste with a quick dry finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light on the body, somewhat sessionable with a carbonation that is somewhat sharp but ends up maintaining a decent yeasty coating of the mouth and tongue.
Overall, this is not a bad take on a witbier by an American brewer. I would have this again and could see some grilled halibut steaks with this.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2014
Location: 12 oz can by the pool, Marriott Tempe at the Buttes, 3/9/14
Aroma: Aroma of orange/spice, pretty fruity, coriander, and some wheat notes
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color, a little sediment, almost no head, and minimal lace
Flavor: The flavor is sweet and fruity, lots of orange up-front, some later yeast and spice
Palate: Pretty darn drinkable, wouldnít have guessed this at 8.5%, soft! smooth! and clean feel
This one kind of grew on me. At first I thought it was too sweet, but thereís enough spice to balance it out, and it works nicely as an outdoor drinking beer. Also, that alcohol is super well hidden. Drinks like a 4-5% beer. If you want some sweet and fruity and cold by a pool you could do a lot worse.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from BevMo, Phoenix. Malty aroma with hints of citrus, pepper and coriander. Pours opaque golden colored with very little head and no lacing. Very malty up front, but not quite as good as a Belgian. Nice finish with a lot of pepper and some coriander. Good beer, but I'm not sure I can call it a Belgian.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
An easy to drink wit with a load of orange peel and hits of coriander and black pepper. The flavour is subdued a bit with smoothened esters and light toasted wheat malts. Overall, a good but bland wit.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12floz/355ml bottle into a weizen glass; served cold.
Aroma: Quite orange-y. Not a whole lot of spice, but itís pleasant.
Appearance: Near opaque, hazy, orange-yellow body. Clean, white, foamy head that dissipates pretty slowly. I had some visible sediment in my beer, which Iím not sure how I feel about, but it mostly dissolved, I think. Nice lacing, though!
Taste: Incredibly mild. Orange, yes, a little. Spices, barely. Exceptionally mild, though. Itís cool that you donít taste the relatively high alcohol content, but itís a weakly flavored beer. If I just got an off-bottle, Iíll re-do this review.
Palate: Exceptionally soft, almost non-existent carbonation. Finish is short and ends on subtle fresh orange flavor.
Overall: I was expecting more, sadly. Itís a very quiet beer, and I was expecting a loud, head-on collision with coriander and oranges. Regardless of what I expected, itís a subtle, gentle beer that really masks the ABV well. I like it, but itís nowhere near my favorite wit.
