Not a bad pumpkin ale. Effervescent pour. Pumpkin taste. Slightly hoppy and bitter. Not bad; not the best.

12oz bottle (called Peaceful Pumpkin) pours clear copper with a thin off white head of foam. The aroma is all pumpkin beer with an even mix of cinnamon to nutmeg and then more pumpkin notes. The taste is similar where the spicy cinnamon and nutmeg like notes are kept in check and don’t over shadow the pumpkin like notes. It ends pleasingly soft. This is nice stuff.

10/6/11 growler.
clear golden honey color w/a soft white head.
a is totally canned pumpkin... but good. mix in some cinnamon, clove, little bit of nutmeg and earthy vegetals.
palate is dry...way drier than expected.... especially for the style. f=a with a touch of cream and bs (but not the sweet).
its a touch watery but creamy at the same time. not bad... 6/3/6/3/13

A true disppointment. Particularly in light of the fact when I ordered the growler, I didn’t realize the tap had been changed from Mudshark’s belgian to this. Thin, Thin, Thin. Slight pumpkin pie flavor but mostly it tasted like water. Almost no discernible alcohol content. Nothing I would ever try again on purpose.

A beer like this doesn’t even deserve a comment, but I am a nice guy. Murky apperance. spice and nutmeg, soft smoke on the nose. palate is bland and watery. flavors are soapy, watery middle, and malt finish. very weak!
