2011 backlog. Pours a very light yellow with small white head. The nose is grain, corn and faint malt. The taste is corn, honey and grass. Medium prickly mouthfeel. 2.4

Nice light lager. Light flavor but better than a miller lite or similar. Would try again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Surprisingly light for a craft beer, white head, looks almost like any mainstream light beer except maybe thicker foam. Grainy and malty with subtle bitter hops. The winning trait here is zero metallic, skunk or funk normally found in big brewers' light beers. Not a lot of craft drinkers are going to love this, but Lake Havasu City gets above 115 degrees frequently in summer, and if you are out on the water, as the name implies, it's hard to drink anything but a light beer like this, and its nice to have one available without turning to Golden or St. Louis. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from AJís Fine Foods Scottsdale. Pours clear and yellow with no head. Not much on the nose. Doesnít really taste like anything.. Why a craft brewer would want to fuck around with a pale lager is beyond fucking me.

12oz can. Rating #21. Clear yellow/light gold pour with a fizzy white head. Kind of a slight metallic odor, light grain. Nice flavor, mild grains and pretty clean, nothing offensive really. (2823)

Pours a very pale watery champagne color with a thin whispy white head. Sulfuric skunk aroma has a touch of pale malt and hops. Very watery, yet still bitter. Drinkable if you donít like flavorful beer

Tap @ O.H.S.O. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a small white head. Sweet malty, lemon, a bit corny, straw aroma. Slightly tangy, chewy malty, corny flavor. Refreshing for a hot day but not really all that superior to most macro pale lagers.

I hope this brewer has low self-esteem. He makes bad beer, and he should feel bad.

My can said Up River Light, so it may different beer. Straw yellow color with a sticky beaten egg white head. Odd chemical and metallic nose. Sweet beer with some corn, canned peas, and penny flavors. This is really not very good at all. Maybe it is better ice cold floating down Lake Havasu.

A steady pour into my Bruery tulip produces a pale, white, two-finger thick, head. The beer is a bright gold color that shows a brilliantly clear, pale straw color when held up to the light. The aroma smells faintly fruity, sweet with a grain / corn sweetness, with a touch of floral / herbal hops, and, the more you dig, a more noticeable green apple like note and almost melon like character.

Light bodied, with a fizzy carbonation and a finish that disappears except for a slight carbonic bite, a touch of weird grain / fruit character and a thin beery note. Thin, sweet grain flavors arenít quite corn like. There is a touch of hop bitterness here, maybe a suggestion of herbal character, certainly more than in your typical Macro-light-lager, but not much to speak of.

Exactly what it is trying to be. Clean enough, without any real flaws, this beer should appeal well to the Light beer looking crowd. For me personally it doesnít do much, except quench the thirst when quite cold on a hot day, but I can think of a fair amount of styles that I would rather have in that situation. Stylistically good for being a bit more flavorful than the standard light beer offering, but hedonistically just a bit too boring.
