500ml bottle from bierzwerg(BBE 5/12).Clear golden colour with medium head. Malt, herbal hops is aroma. Flavour is malt, hints of hops. Have couple extra bottles to try again.

Golden. White foam that lasts long time. Light sour malty aroma. Sweet malty taste. low in carbon medium body. Good balance. milt aftertaste that lasts for a short time.

Bottle. Malty aromas. Pale gold colour, poor thin white head, non persistent. Tastes malt predominantly, light to medium bodied, high carbonation. This had a heavier body than meny other kölsch i´ve tried.Nice one for this style.

Pale yellow clear body with white tight head. Aromas hops , malts, grains. Palate slick medium full-bodied with lively soft carbonation and mouth feel. Taste is sweet malts, grains, some rostiness and licorice. Aftertaste is dry bitter with medium short hops finish with flavours from floral hops and sweet malts. Balanced kölsch, heavier on the texture than few other Kölsch beer. Quite drinkable.

Exellent Kölsch from the tap and bottle(if not older than 2 month, does oxygenate fast). Nice gold/amber colour. Good aroma (mittelfrüh). Great old german bottle shape.

Tap @ Malzmuhle, Cologne. Pours clear yellow with a creamy head and lacings. Fresh straw and grass. Easy and mild with a pleasant hoppy bitterness. Clean and quaffable - had my share last week. One of the 2 or 3 best Kolsch in Cologne.

from bottle. clear golden kölsch with a nice white head. nice, refreshing and very malty flavour with hints of citrus. more complex and way better than any other kölsch. the brewery is also worth a visit to drink it on tap. this is one of the best beers in my opinion!

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Schöne leicht dunkelgelbe Farbe, es prickelt schön, und die mittelporige Blume steht wie ne Eins! Geruchlich ists kölschtypisch und dominant malzig. Der Antrunk ist spitze. Es ist sehr angenehm rezent, und ein doch sehr starker, aber wohlschmeckender Malzgeschmack macht sich breit. Noch nie hatte ich ein Kölsch mit einem solch intensiven malzig-würzigen Geschmack getrunken. Sehr süffig ist es dazu auch noch! Mir kommts so vor als würde das Malzaroma zum Ende hin noch intensiver werden. Einfach spitze!

On draught at Putz Brauhaus. Aroma mainly malt with hints of sweet fruits. Taste is delegate sweet with slight hay flavours. Very refreshing, perfect Kölsch

Clear golden colour, white head. Light, sweet malty aroma, only light hops. Sweet malty flavour, light bitter. Short finish. Quite OK, very drinkable.
