On tap at the Brauhaus. Golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of malt, bread and herbal hops. Malty and fruity flav9our, full bodied with vineous notes of pear fruit and white wine.

500 ml. bottle. A nice golden light crisp kolsch with a great classic head. Just bitter enough. Well made.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2011 My Bottom Line :
Delicately honeyed pils malts dominate this quaffable Kölsch, as whispering citrusy accents peer through once in a while.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A healthy head of foam caps the clear golden.
-The finish is very quiet; perhaps not this beer’s best feature.
-This finish, coupled with the slick mouthfeel, makes for extremely high drinkability, especially when yet another freshly-served, cool glass is set upon your table.
-The effervescent natural carbonation is perfect for the moderate level of residual sugars.
-Hops are practically absent in this brew, appearing in herbal and citrusy form only if you want to look for them

Blond color, with a distinct head. Due to the Stange glass, the aroma is fairly mild. The mouthfeel is a bit dry, but hops seem to be missing.

From barrel at the brauhaus
Blond color, with the classic head. The aroma is mild, nice, with delicate grass. Lean body; the mouthfeel is less dry than other Kölsch; mild malt flavor, with, again, a nice grassy touch; the bitterness level is correct.
Elegant Kölsch, very fresh, my favorite in Köln.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma, grain, grass, floral notes. Taste, fruity, bread, citrus with bittersweet finish. Drinkable, refreshing beer.
