Brrr. My rate is a ctrl+c at giebelhof and ctrl+v here... The beer is the same like Giebelhof: Very pale liquid with a zero head. Weak aroma and flavor of malt and grassy hop, some yeast. Contract beers to the cheep market are a very bad course, the brewery has a big debt because of these ’beers’...

Bottled(500ml). -Courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!).
Hmm...what to say about Pecsi contract beers for a bunch of Hungarian supermarkets? This one poured pale yellow piss coloured with small soapy white head and corny cereals nose. Again watery palate, but this time there’s some weak corn flakes and light salty bready notes.

0.5l bottle, dirt cheap (around 80-90 forints), from a Match store in Budapest
Poured a yellow body with, well, pretty much no (white) head. The nose is MIA. And I’m not talking about the Sri Lankan singer. Notes say "maybe grain". So there you have it. I might’ve smelled something grainy. Taste? H2O. Aaaand... something else! Some graininess that ends up somewhere between rice crispies and corn flakes but still makes this beer end up above the utter crap category. Some weak saltiness near the end. Not exactly offensive but all in all, useless (though not as much as some). The unicorn on the label in conjunction with the name (the gate of the mill) makes me believe that this beer is actually art. Those rascals at Pécsi probably wanted to teach the average István what’s abstract art. I’m sure they did. Ooooooooor. This is yet another lame faux-German yellow water from Hungary. I’m sure it’s the former.

Bottled. Pale golden, small head. Fruity roma with a sad touch of vomit. Sweet and thin, papery and metallic. Empty and fizzy, without bitterness.

This beer is a German style beer, but I think its brewed in Hungary. I bought it a supermarket in Budapest. Not one I can recommend tho. Barnyard malt flavor and aroma. Small white head with short duration. High carbonation.
