Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 10, 2007 Bottled. A deep red beer with a rim of head. The aroma is sweet with a light notice of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet - I find it an odd sweetness - with notes of sirup, thick caramel, and a slight acidity. The alcohol only shows off with a slight burn in the throat, but surprisingly subdued. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 7, 2007 (Bottle 25 cl) Apparently also known as "Mühlfelder Rekordbier". Clear, reddish brown - no head whatsoever. Thick, berry-like aroma. Very huge body, this pours extremely thick - almost like maple syrup. Weird flavours of berries and....fish! No bitterness - this is purely a sticky, sweet mess of a syrup. Glad to have tried this - but never again please! 090507 yespr (7843), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 20, 2008 Bottle, thanks to faroeviking. Pours reddish brown with a little white head. Woody barley, fruity and alcohol aroma. Paint like chemical. Solid dry woody sweetness with a solid raisin sweetness. Alcohol is not that present. Thick barley brew. joergen (6821), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 31, 2007 Bottle.
Clear red brown coloured with a small beige head.
Aroma of rubber an dsoy sauce.
Flavour of rubber, soy sauce and medicine with notes of prunes. Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 26, 2007 Bottle thanks to Jeppe of Ølbutikken. I work at a hospital, and this beer smells and taste like the medicin room, dusty and sweet to, super sweet............and strange, not good!
