Bottle shared from the Beer Shop, Den Haag. Clear amber pour with a small off white head. Aroma is completely dominated by peat, there really doesn’t seem to be much else going on. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Just peat really, loads and loads of peat..

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark amber with a medium off-white head and an aroma of smoked malts, whiskey, smoke, peat, and some alcohol. The taste is just slightly sweet with lots of malts and some boozyness later on. The finish has a mixture of bitterness, smoke and sourness. Nice beer

Tasting @ bierfestival Maastricht. Amber coloured, white foamy head. Big smoke in the nose and taste, turf, vanilla and whiskey. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, light mouthfeel.

At wvhnb. Big sweet malts, dough, light roasted touch and some earth. Very sweet and syrupy with noticeable alcohol. Full bodied. Nice stuff, you really get the whisky/beer combo.

Trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch rauchig, Torf, Whiskey, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch, genauso ist auch der Geschmack.

Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is peat, caramel, whiskey. Flavour is sharp alholic smoked malt peat caramel mess. Like the idea but it’s quite messy.

Weird beer. It’s golden, with a body of grainy malt. Has a smokey backbone and a strong taste of peated whiskey. Bit unbalanced, but creative.

Mooie bruine kleur, klein laagje beige schui, drijft veel troep in, ziet er niet lekker uit. Ruikt lekker naar peat en zoetig. De peatsmaak wordt overstemd door teveel zoet, beetje als hoestdrank. Geen topper.

Bottle, courtesy of noize. Glowing orange coloured with a beige head. Nose is smoked malts, a bit meaty, slightly peaty, bit of caramel. Flavour is malty, fairly sweet, peaty. Fairly boozy, medium carbonation. Finish is boozy and bitter.

Hazy amber coloured with a small beige head. Aroma of malts, peat, light vanilla, smoke, some spices. Flavour is medium malty sweetness, more peat. Nice brew, but I get more of a "best of both worlds" experience from a good BA Imperial Stout.

Bottled. At least aged for 1.5 year. Full 33cl sample. The aroma has caramel, peat, bit grain. Hazy, amber coloured beer with a medium, off-white/beige, lasting head. Lots of ugly particles floating around. Mostly these thinks don’t really influence the taste while drinking, but can’t help... It doesn’t really make me wanna drink it. Anyway. The taste is a bit sweet, caramelic with peat coming up half way the sip. Going towards a boozy finish. Medium bodied. It’s an okay beer, just a little unbalanced imo, because of the booziness.
