COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ideale drinktemperatuur 7-10 °C. Gebrouwen met water, pilsmout, münchener mout, melanoidin mout, caramunich mout, chocolademout, hop, gist. Bevat een lage concentratie gluten.

Drank at home with Dave after playing Catan with the others 01-12-2014. Not a bad beer, but the taste is onedimensional, a bit flat. Still not unpleasant, has a nice more or less typical bock-taste, but slightly different, almondpaste?? (amandelspijs)

Bottle 33cl. Clear amber brown color, large foamy beige head that recedes quickly to a thick layer, good lacing though; aroma sweet malty, bit roasted, dark fruits, caramel, candy sugar; taste moderate sweet and moderate to light bitter, roasted; medium body, oily to light creamy texture, average carbonation, finish light bittersweet, roasty and earthy notes; overall a decent beer (less sweet than most Dutch bocks) pity that the palate a bit on the thin side is.

Sweet malty aroma. Nice red. large head, but ooops, it was a gusher. Minus one. Malty taste too, but the yeastiness is too dense. Not a super osse bock, an I am sad.Malty, but none of the super osse fun.

Bottle 33cl. Dark brown, reddish glow with an off white head that lasts. Aroma has malts and some sweetness. The taste is balanced at first with some sweetness that goes with the aroma. But then a surprisingly heavy bitterness kicks in which is not completely pleasant. The bitterness is even heavier in the aftertaste. Not really bock, but not really bad...

Aroma of bread and malts. Brown colour, off white head. Lots of malts and dry coffee like taste. Then the sweet taste of the bock comes in. The aftertaste is dry and a bit bitter. Very good for a bockbeer.

Bosskie (459) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 25, 2014
Dark brown red beer with a foamy head. Smell is bitter sweet metallic with subtle dark fruits. Some leather, maybe some chocolate. Touch of caramel. Taste is dominated by caramel toffee with a good bitter sweet balance. Alcohol, astringent finish but not dominating. Nice bocl - like it when they’re not so sweet.

Bottle. Lots of floaties in this one, in an else almost clear, glowing dark amber body. The head is finger-thick and beige. Lightly fruity aroma, weak, and with some caramel. Semi-sweet flavor with pale malts, some tea and dried fruits and a generic fruityness. Coffee hints. Medium body, semi-dry and with a soft carbonation. Long finish with some caramel and dried fruits. Not very bock-ish, at least not in the German way, but quite decent anyway. 141024
