Aroma: heavy hops and flowers. Appearance: orange and cloudy with big white head. Bottle has a big yeast depot. Flavor: starts with mild sweetness and fruity apricot; full but not too heavy body. Dry finish with a middle bitter end. Highly carbonized. Very fine brew while not that alcohol intensiv as others beers from Benelux.

Bottle: Medium white head, slow disappearing/changing in fine white lacing, on top of a good hazy orange colored beer. A well balanced smell of fruit, orange, hints of tangerine, abricot and peach, hops, flowers and floral. Guess when you smell the beer you expect a fine fresh hopped beer, though the taste is not bad, it’s not completely what I expected. Taste is a yeasty fruity hoppy mix of nice bitter, citrus, peach, malts and barleys, some crispy yeast notes and some light spices. Nice hoppy bitter light fruity aftertaste. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, good medium (to lightly fuller) body and a creamy texture. I like the beers of De Muifelbrouwerij, hope they will once have a collab with some brewery like Mikkeller.

Draught: @TBF’11: 6% alc. Small white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell malts, grains, wheat, light hoppy, cleaner and a hint of sweets. Taste is a mix of malts, fruit, peach, wheat, light sweets, tad of something like nasty malts. Sweet light fruity aftertaste. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture.

Nice golden color, first clear but a bit hazy from swirling-up of some yeast. Nice Belgian aroma, mildly sweet, not hoppy. Slight bitterness and a bit dry in aftertaste. Not very exciting, but a good drink all-night Blonde!

Draught @ TBF ’11. The sign said 6% abv. Colour is like a witbier. Smells fresh, hoppy and a bit like candy-sweets. Taste is similar to the smell.

Bought a bottle at KBC Den Bosch 2011. Taste was quite good, however for me there was way too much co2 activity, which kinda wrecked the taste.

Orange color with thin creamy head. Lot of yeast at the bottom. Smell of sweet, fresh and fruity (orange) taste. Sweet but not too sweet, as I like it! Slight bitter after-taste that gets overtaken by sweetness. Great beer if you like sweet beers, like kriek or lambic, but find these sometimes too sweet.

erickok (4135) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - OCT 15, 2012
Clear golden body with lively bubles forming a big bubbly soapy white head. Croissant, peaches, oranges, light yeast and some classic hop backup. A typical Belgian and quite sweet aroma but well rounded off. Medium sweet with some hop backup, maybe somewhat more floral would have been nice. Heavy active carbonation that could people of. It’s okay but the alcohol sweet balance is skewed towards the sweetness instead of giving a fresh or floral smooth feel. (33cl at 6.8% abv from ABC beers)
