mild IPA to start with, bitterness in the finish. Refreshing, long aftertaste. From the ’wow, didn’t know i hadn’t rated this yet’ series. bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis.

Amber, orange colour. Thick head. Lots of tasts of citrus, sweet fruits. Soft bitters which make it easy drinkable. Good IPA

15 cl at Bierfestival Groningen 2016. Appearance: amber golden with medium off-white head. Aroma: flowers, lavender, caramel and a warm hint of chocolate, I guess. Taste: low sweetness with high bitterness. Notes of resin and coriancer. Palate: Light body, slick texture with medium carbonation.

Thick, dense yellowish head over copperish orange beer. Mandarine, citrusmarmalade, cakebottom, rainwater, but also faintly sea/miineral smell. Bitter, citruspeel, lupulinebomb, really dry. Underneath however, a distinct caramelly-cakey sweetness. Finihs is dry-hoppy-bitter. Seems rather well-bodied, and completely hopoil-determined. Well-rounded final flavours. Quite good IPA.

A pleasent sweet hoppy aroma, fullt of flowery hops, dried apricot and exotic fruit and hints of honey. The flavor is dry, sure, but shows an uncommon sweetness. The dried fruit shoots back and the hops come upfront. Bitter and much drier than the aroma suggests. They call it "USA" but I miss the fresh-flowery hops. This IPA is much closer to the British originals that the brewer might have wanted.
