COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zuster Agatha is a dark beer with 10% ABV. Brewed according to the Trappist traditions and only natural ingredients. Althoug these types of beer a normally named after male chatholics the brewer still decided to name it after Sister Agatha. It’s a beer to enjoy in peace and quite. It has a complex aroma with fruit, raisins and roasted malts. It’s full and solid with a surprisingly dry finish. It invites you to take another sip. Please be careful with this high alcoholic beer as the strenght might attack you by surprise. Brewed for and with the recipe of de Muifel Brouwerij (http://www.muifelbrouwerij.nl/).

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2015 Aroma: roaster malts, dark fruits, alcohol. Taste: Roasted malts, vanilla, caramel, raisins, dark fruits. The aftertaste is mostly bitter, malts, maybe even salty. Nice one. Less fruity and ?darker? than La Trappe Quad.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Stas & Vova. Pours gushing. Murky amber-brown color. Smell of dried fruits, brown sugar, candy and yeast. Sweet, flavors of raisins and prunes, boozy and slightly oxidized. Medium-full bodied, syrupy texture.
