Bottled. An amber beer with a hazy of sediment under an orangey head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, caramel, alcohol, and some malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. A very simple Quad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with floating impurities and a creamy and lacig beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and dried fruits. Solid body, lots of dark dried fruits and a little licorice - well quite some licorice actually. Surprisingly hoppy finish with some warming alcohol. Nice one. 141109

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 30 cl.
Nice dark brown coloured beer with a stable creme coloured foam that slowly declines to a thick layer. The aroma contains load of esters, banana’s , raisins, fruits and slight caramel. The first taste impression is sweet but not sticky. Afterwards hints of caramel and chocolat come through. The aftertaste is somewhat spicy and a little sweet. Although the Zuster is a heavy quadrupel it has a very good drinkability.

Bottle 30 cl. Pours an orange brown with a small off-white head and an aroma of ripe prunes, raisins, nuts and dark malts. The taste is dominated by alcohol, but in a nice way, with notes of roasted malts, both ripe and unripe fruits, liquorice, yeast and caramel. A nice strong beer.
