Zuster Agatha is a dark beer with 10% ABV. Brewed according to the Trappist traditions and only natural ingredients. Althoug these types of beer a normally named after male chatholics the brewer still decided to name it after Sister Agatha. Itís a beer to enjoy in peace and quite. It has a complex aroma with fruit, raisins and roasted malts. Itís full and solid with a surprisingly dry finish. It invites you to take another sip. Please be careful with this high alcoholic beer as the strenght might attack you by surprise. Brewed for and with the recipe of de Muifel Brouwerij (http://www.muifelbrouwerij.nl/).

Gedronken bij biergilde hoorn. De grand reserve editie. Mooi donkerbruin bier van de gebrande mouten. Zoet bier, zwaar maar erg lekker.

Fles33cl. Kleur donkerbruin met mooie schuimkraag. Geur gebrand mout. Zoet karamel en fruit. Smaak komt overeen met neus. Ik proef iets metaligs. Vreemd wrang.

Een heerlijke quadrupel, geuren van gebrande mout, caramel, gedroogd fruit. Smaken van gebrande mout, gedroogd fruit, caramel. Lichtbitter, zoetig, hele lichte rooksmaak. Lekker!

Does attack with stealth! A Dutch classic in the making, a very good, tasty quad. Subtle yet full at the same time. Bottle from Van nap Woerden

Clear dark ruby, light brown lacing foam head. Aroma is sweet barley, with fruity tones, slightly charcoal. Sweet taste, again some sweet fruits. Little smokey. Warm alcohol feeling. (Velp 201410)

Een bijzondere, donkere, licht bittere, maar ook fruitige quadrupel. Lichte schuimkraag.

33cl bottle, from beerhunter111, (or MrHangover), anyway, thanks! Deep mahogany color, thick off white head, came rushing out of bottle. Sweet dark fruits, brown sugar, spicy notes in aroma. Full bodied, very smooth. Nicely balanced beer, alcohol is hidden. Raisins, yeasty notes, spices, candy sugar and toffee. Long finish.

Bottle. Cola color, quite dense. Aromas....wow. First there is a very earthy sweet sensation: plums, raisins, krieken. Very gentle boozy smell follows. Taste starts very (!) boozy. Liquid hairspray. Slowly a sweet taste begins to develop, mostly chocolate with a hint of cherry. Small creamy lining. Subsequently, the boozy taste subdues and you are left with a particularly fruity Trappist style. For me, it is too boozy.
