Mulholland Perfect Storm Vanilla Framboise

On tap @ brewpub. Pours amber, smells like crushed up pink Smarties candy and butterscotch pudding. I wasn’t getting too much vanilla out of this, I got a very sweet and sour taste from this, like raspberry limeade. Not my thing.

On tap @ the brewpub: Pours a hazy copper/pink with a white head. Aroma, raspberry and vanilla, maybe a bit of malts. Flavor, the vanilla is dominant, some raspberries in the background, sweet yeasty, and overall not that great.

on tap. Pours a cloudy, dull, red/pink color with a small off white/pink head. Aroma is raspberries, vanilla, light malt. Flavor is vanilla, light raspberry, malt. Palate is meidum bodied, medium to light carbonation finished lightly tart and dry. For me the vanilla was a little dominating and masked any raspberry flavor. It also lacked carbonation and the tartness I was hoping for. I’m not sure lambic is an accurate description of this beer. Decent, but far from noteworthy.
