May 1, 2008 Sample @ brewpub. Pours dark amber color. Smells like sweet, spiced apple cider. Highly carbonated, malty and caramel-y. Quick spicy finish. One of their better brews.

Orange-brown body. Fresh hoppy nose. Heavy yeast flavor with a bit of orange peel. Finish is also citrusie.

Jan 16, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a mostly clear brownish-amber color with a medium beige head that diminishes rather quickly. Top ring of lacing with spots beneath. The aroma consists of nutmeg and other spices plus some yeast and hops. Medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavors of toasted malt and caramel along with yeast and spices. The finish is spicy and relatively short. Above average overall.
