AleDude (22), USA Apr 13, 2008 A light amber color. I was disappointed because of the strong bubble gum flavor and sweetness. Did not think it had the complexities associated with most Dubbels.
sliffy (1951), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 1, 2008 On tap @ the brewpub: Pours alight amber color with an off white head. Aroma, yeast and some floral notes, not much in the way of aroma. Flavor, floral and minty, some bubblegum, and some spices, yeasty. Ehh... ogglethorp (776), Ohio, USA Feb 25, 2008 On tap. Pours a dark amber color with a small beige colored head. Aroma is light caramel, clove, floral hops. Flavor is again caramel, light clove, and floral hops. Palate is medium bodied, meidium carbonation, finished on the sweet side. No this shouldn’t be your first branded beer. Lacks most of the characteristics of an Abbey Dubbel. BeerVirgin72 (568), C-Bus, Ohio, USA Nov 21, 2007 Had on tap at brewery. Poured a nice dark gold color. Sweet carmel and malts up front, but light and hoppy on the end. This was my LEAST favorite of the four...DId not taste like it was blended properly. 7% alc. edden (901), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Nov 18, 2007 11/17/07: On tap @ Mulholland. Light brown body with a medium white head. Caramel malt aroma. Malt and hop flavor which is a bit on the watery side.
